A Sunny Saturday With a Fun Family

I had the pleasure of being part of this fun family gathering to celebrate a surprise birthday.  We had been slightly worried about the weather when it was planned but it was a gorgeous sunny Colorado fall day, perfect for lots of cousin fun!

A BIG hug for the birthday boy.

There were lots of tricks to be demonstrated.

And quite a bit of laughter.
The bright sun and yellow leaves of the aspens blend well together.

This reminds me of the good times that I spent with my cousins, Lyn and Wendy.  But we were usually wearing matching monogrammed sailor collars.
When I tried to leave this cute girls stopped me.  They weren't quite done having their picture taken yet.
I'm glad that I stuck around for these awesome poses.

Thanks for having me.  You guys were a lot of fun.

Market with the Coffee Registry People

I spent a lovely autumn afternoon with this great family of four at the farmer's market enjoying the overcast sky and some colorful leaves.
Josiah is a big help behind the "counter".  This reminds me of my childhood "helping" at my Mom and Dad's shops.  They couldn't have done it without me!
We were ambushed by a colorful little monster.  I didn't mind.  Nothing like a little female influence to shake things up with the fellas.
 A train!

Some say that coffee will stunt your growth.  Surely not, just ask this guy. He's been drinking for decades and hasn't noticed a thing.

We couldn't help but throw some of the "fall" back up into the air.

 They always travel this way!

Dinner prep was very colorful tonight thanks to some beautiful produce from Hope Farms

The colors were so beautiful when I was chopping a red onion and three varieties of potatoes that I had to grab my camera.
It also looked great in my grandmother's dutch oven.  Thanks for picking orange Evie.
