Bread n' Boards

Sears Trostel and Great Harvest Bread Company hosted their annual fundraiser for the Food Bank for Larimer County today.  There were some beautiful hand-crafted wooden bread boards available for purchase and you got a loaf of Great Harvest Bread to accompany it.  No bad deal.
Sears Trostel employees and local woodworkers donated "Signature" boards to be auctioned off as well.
There was bread from Great Harvest for munching and coffee from Starry Night to warm every one up.

My favorite wood worker with his "Signature" board.

Dinner prep was very colorful tonight thanks to some beautiful produce from Hope Farms

The colors were so beautiful when I was chopping a red onion and three varieties of potatoes that I had to grab my camera.
It also looked great in my grandmother's dutch oven.  Thanks for picking orange Evie.

From Hope Farms to My Table

I am going to be having the privilege of photographing the delicious and beautiful produce from Hope Farms which is just down the road from my house, very convenient.  And to sweeten the deal I got to bring some kale, peppers, broccoli, eggplant, and squash home.  See that kale being harvested below, it is now in my belly.
Now that is farm to table!
