We got a beautiful, fluffy, sparkly snow last night. And a bright, sunny day today. I love to see the snow glistening in the sun as is so often the case in Colorado. This bare bush in my new front yard had puffs of snow nestled into its many nooks reflecting and glowing with the mid-day sun. I couldn't resist. Especially since Charlie is in bed and Viola was watching Reading Rainbow. I lost myself for a few moments in the sparkle.

Textures from the Farm
I've been working on some black and white images to submit to a local hospital. I though that I might share them. Please click on the images to enlarge. Enjoy:

Farm Family
The Graff family live and work on Laughing Buck Farm here in Ft. Collins. It's a great place to get some fresh pork and eggs, take horse lessons and let the kids learn about farming at Farm School.
The boot library.
We definitely wanted to include some fuzzy ponies in this New Year's shoot.
Check out those chicken feather earrings!
