Jan and Brooke and the Twinkle Lights

This mother and daughter love spending time together.  Eating cake, drinking tea and laughing.  We met at Starry Night for some refreshments and then walked around town waiting for it to be dark enough for the twinkle lights on College Avenue.

We popped into The Cupboard to look at kitchen wares and the candy.

They wanted to show me the lobby of the Northern Hotel.  It is gorgeous!
And the twinkle lights.  It was a fun night ladies!

Hewlett-Packard Company, Take Your Turkey to Work Day

Some extremely dedicated volunteers were out in the bitter cold and snow this morning to collect frozen turkeys for the Food Bank of Larimer County.  If you missed this opportunity to donate a turkey you can take them to the food bank at 1301 Blue Spruce in Ft Collins.

Some people even brought turkeys by bike.

Thanks to the freezing temperatures there was no concern about keeping the turkeys frozen.

Miss Lucy Angert

I had the pleasure of capturing the beauty of this, most beloved, doll of a little girl yesterday.

 Love the hair!

Is there anything more precious than tiny shoes?

November 22-24
 Becoming Wonka.
Tickets available through the Lincoln Center box office.
And a big thanks to Kilwins in Old Town Ft. Collins for allowing us to have this photo shoot there and giving us some delicious chocolate to take pictures of.  Sadly it could not be sold after we touched it so it had to be eaten.

Jackson Special

I'll be in Jackson for a few weeks in December so I'll have time for a few portrait sessions.  So why not ask for Libby Newell Photography for Christmas.

More mess from my stove.

Copocos Honey

This little honey store is such a fun stop, I love popping in with the kids or bringing out of town company so I was thrilled when the asked me to do some photos to promote their store and products.
Their are bees making honey right inside the store!  Don't worry, they're behind glass.
Bring your own jar.  It's a great way to reduce packaging and save money on their delicious honey.

Even the shop lizard keeps a hive.

 Yummy soaps.
The honey is processed right there on the premises.

Then we headed out to check on some hives at Native Hill Farm.
Bee farmer Benjamin complete with flower.
