"We've been happily married for 50 years, but not to each other."
This lovely couple met at the Senior Center while performing in White Christmas as part of an acting troupe called SOAP (Slightly Older Adult Players) about two years ago and have been like teenagers in love ever since. They have a standing date on Friday for lunch and a movie, love conversation, writing verse, and just being together.
Speck's grandfather milled the wood for this clock and payed $28 to have it made.
A man's bathroom says a lot about him. Speck's tells me that he is an old fashioned guy who still uses a shaving brush and shaving lotion.
This rhyming dictionary comes in handy to write the poetry that Speck shared with me.
Peggy loves his work.
They laugh at the same things. And smile just because they are with each other.
